NICE a4!! Magnus Carlsen vs Wesley So || Norway Blitz Chess 2022 – Round 6
Norway Chess is a 10-player round-robin featuring World Champion Magnus Carlsen and taking place in Finansparken in Stavanger, Norway from 31 May to 10 June. Each of the 10 rounds consists of a classical game where a win is worth 3 points and a loss 0. If the players draw they play an Armageddon game, where the winner earns 1.5 points and the loser 1 point. No draw offers are allowed before move 30. The classical time control is 2 hours for all moves, with a 10-second increment per move only after move 40. For Armageddon White (the same player who had White in the classical game) has 10 minutes to Black’s 7, with a 1-second increment from move 41. Black wins if the game ends in a draw. A tie for 1st place will be decided by two 3+2 blitz games followed, if necessary, by a 5 vs. 4-minute Armageddon game.

  1. 7:12 foul by wesley, once you touch any piece you have to move that piece

  2. I don't feel offended by a4. If my opponent opens with something similar to that, I just play normal Chess

  3. I feel he is losing his interest in chess.
He should retire by the time ASAP.

  4. A4 does not mean he is trolling that move only wants the opponent to decide what opening he wants coz there are so much lines that includes a4 as we see matches with 1.a4 will be transposed as the match goes.

  5. Commentator said "the opening looks good" A4, do that to wesley so and get punished.

  6. Video quality is poor. A4 wasn't punished – actually was good enabling magnus to put pressure on the A-file. He simply lost on time

  7. Don't be offended by this type of play, rather happy because you are giving up your opening advantage.

  8. He feels unbeatable and that is the result of being boastful and arrogant on his chess moves..reckless..
