  1. Take the pawn lose the knight lol this is satire

  2. White, FREE PAWN…Black, Qd4, you block rook with pawn c3? Down a knight for a pawn after queen takes!

  3. Ngl, I didn't realize why it wasn't free at first because the white queen was hidden under the subscribe button and I thought that was a bishop.

  4. If Hikaru lets me have a pawn I know for a fact I’m not taking it 😥

  5. Levy just really wanted to say "THE ROOK" 😂

  6. But After knight d4 he Loses the knight because of the rook

  7. White could end up losing both rooks, but you have to watch out for the white queen going to F3 and giving mate.

  8. For those wondering, the pawn is not free because after Nxe5, black plays Nd4, attacking the queen and a discovered attack on the e5 knight.

  9. If you take the pawn ♟ on e5….
Then Nd4 attacks whites queen 👸 and simultaneously the rook on e8 now has a discovered attack on deez knight on e5. I’m 2700 tactic rating and subscribed to Hikaru 😏 I could do this all day baby.

  10. I love how every comment is trying to prove they know but each comment is different 😂

  11. This and Levy completely selling out is why I unsubscribed from his channel. Quite the fall from grace.

  12. I’ll just add that right before this clip, it looks like Hikaru played b3, so if he’d played Nxe5 instead, Qd4 or Bd4 doesn’t fork the rook, just the b-pawn, so Hikaru could reply Nc4 defending the b-pawn. But attacking Q with Nd4 would still win the knight. 😉

  13. is it a free pawn or a free knight??? bruh… im gonna stop playing chess if im levi😂😂😂

  14. 1. Nxe5, Nf4 2. Nxc6, Qd7, and your knight is trapped while blacks night is attacking your queen

  15. It’s not free because when he takes he moves the knight to attack the queen then the queen has to move then he takes the knight with his rook.

  16. If knight takes pawn
BLACK KNIGHT GOES TO F4 THREATHNING THE QUEEN AND YOU CANT TREATH THE ENEMIES BC OF THE PAWN PROTECTING IT AND THEN YOU JUST LOSE A KNIGHT

  17. I think levy was being sarcastic no?

  18. This is the legendary "pin of shame" but on another level.

  19. If he takes the poison pawn it opens up the e file. Which the rook is xraying

  20. It’s actually not free because after that the queen moves to f5 after knight takes it’s a pin on the knight to the rook and either the rook moves or white has to castle to save it but regardless a knight is lost

  21. Why are people doing exact what levy said they would do at the end lmao. He literally said people gonna take him out of context thinking he cant see a basic tactic

  22. Well obv blacks night would get a juicy square threatening fork and the black black bishop wud get a juicy free file too

  23. After Ne5, Qd4 forks the knight and the rook. Whatever you do to save the rook, you will lose the knight and vice versa

  24. it isnt free, after it takes the pawn he discoverd atack by moving the knight attacking the queen and after he take the pawn counter attacking the queen they trade and black gets back by the left side and whites knight is stuck waiting to be took

  25. As always
Hikaru isnt there, Levy "I know everything I´am god"
Hikaru is there, "master how can I please you"

  26. Yeah true Levy didn't see simple tactic if Levy losses he blame stream sniping and "he knows everything"

  27. “This is why he shouldn’t do commentary” is correct indeed. Maybe look at the fork holding my noodles 👀

  28. When grandmasters are playing don’t act like you can comprehend their moves. You’ll just look stupid

  29. I am a 1900 and even I see the most basic move

  30. The pawn cna be taken but the the queen can fork both the knight and the back rank pawn for major damage.

  31. Is levy being sarcastic? “I can’t wait for this to get clipped out of context” Hikaru’s a hater these days

  32. It is amazing that Levy, who is always harping on identifying danger levels, is willing to comment on the pawn hanging when there is a discovered attack waiting to happen. The knight is defending d4 square, which is already being attacked by three black pieces—the queen, the bishop, and the knight. If White is greedy and takes the pawn with Nxe5, it loses in two different ways, both equally playable. Cleanest is Qd4, forking both the unsupported knight and rook. Nd4 leads to a discovered attack on the knight while threatening the queen and White cannot deal with both threats simultaneously. Interestingly, I do not see anybody in the comment section pointing out Bd4 which would also fork like Qd4. And it is good that nobody did because that would be a blunder as after Nxe5 Bd4, Nxc6 forks the black queen and the bishop and White will not only avoid losing a piece but also be up two pawns.

  33. Just to guess…
Would Qg5 be a double attack on the potential knight on e5 and on the g2 pawn?
