  1. 3 hours of amazing stuff! Thanks Chess.com! More of this please!

  2. I mean, the Chess was really nice and the explaination of Naka also very good, but he seems to be a bit "bored" the whole time.

So my tip for next stream to Mr. Nakamura: Be a little bit more excited! 😉

  3. Yeah some of these games are really instructive and powerful. The first game against Bryakin_Mikhail for example is just a brutal example of how to kill your opponents development and then make their position really painful after they lose tempi early on.

  4. The lag reminds me of the beginning of computer era…

  5. Naka, please keep streaming! This is good stuff

  6. Great player, great instructions … AND without "robot-noice" in the background! ;O)

  7. I love playing chess, Nakamura is a real master, my regards to him… I hope there was a site like this when I was a child (I am 35 years old)

  8. The best blitz player in the world playing on the laggiest set up. Wtf

  9. How do people ever win slow games against guys like this jesus fucking christ he calculated stuff in like 2 seconds or less that takes me like 6-7+ seconds to figure out

  10. nakamura's commentary is priceless, i can't even keep up.

  11. chess.com: Nice job on the layout (good background colors, contrast, design, etc.). Looks very professional and even good (e.g. early Microsoft was professional but not appealing in the way that Apple always has been).

  12. I get that this guy's good but why is he so damn cocky? How many times does he say "winning" in the first game?

  13. Despite the technical difficulties here, this is one of the coolest things that a chess fan could witness, by far. Imagine if streaming tech existed when Fischer or Spassky were at their peak? Is there any way to see something similar with Kasparov or any of the other top 20 players? Looking forward to it!

  14. The debut of Chess, com's terrible lag. "No its not just your PC"

  15. Dude…I'm supposed to go to bed right now..WTF

  16. 26:17. Knight g6? if take, its a forced mate in a few moves. if not take, white looks pretty good

  17. Witnessing Hikaru's reaction to the ratings of some players was hilarious

  18. BTW whats the plural of "computer mouse"? computer mice or mouses?

  19. @50.06 – "I'm not really so thrilled by any of this, but it's just chess" XD XD

  20. The games he played against Pete were hilarious

  21. Imagine if they get MAGNUS to stream this stuff. Wow. We've gotta be close to that deal. This was amazing, though. Nak comes off as more down to earth than I realized in these. Definitely a fan now.

  22. "this is not exactly how i wanted to win this" thats a great mind set you have

  23. That's what happens when you are a Super GM: you can choose to "not play boring", even against a 2583 rated player… 🙂

  24. It isn't fair. I had to learn out of a bunch of books. Thanks Hikaru.

  25. Naka rules! However, chess.com sucks ass, not just because of the constant lag, but because of the super shitty customer service! Why pay for a website that randomly bans members without explanation and doesn't give a rat's ass about anything but making money??

  26. naka is born on the same day and year as me, but it is today that he has my respect. if not for you hikaru, I would still be sad about Sagittarians.

  27. 1:34:26 Hikaru "You never know he could always take with the Queen…. and he did!" LOL!!!

  28. Why would people ask questions about the mice he use…

  29. Jeez, gave 3 piece odds to that near 1700 guy and beat him twice anyway (around the 1:35:00 mark). That rating plays so bad it makes me ashamed not to be rated 2500… I mean how can you possibly be so bad to lose twice given 3 piece odds, it's insane.

  30. Once Naka gets fully into his stride… !!!

  32. 😲 This guy playing and analyzing at the same time

  33. The second game (versus "canwedoit") was absolutely beautiful.
